Our Story
Once upon a time, in a small town called Upminster in Essex, there lived a young and ambitious individual named Jack Sawyer. Jack was a bright and talented individual who possessed a deep passion for personal growth and professional development. Little did he know that his journey would soon take an unexpected turn leading him down a path of innovation and success.
Jack's story began when he found himself engrossed in various projects for his family and friends. Utilising his skills and expertise, he dedicated himself assisting them in any way he could. Whether creating marketing strategies or providing support with their social media channels, Jack's commitment to helping others was unwavering.
However, Jack was also pursuing his dreams at Bournemouth University. As part of his academic journey, he secured an internship at Counter Terrorism Policing, where he worked as a Digital Communication assistant. This opportunity allowed him to gain valuable experience in the field of communication and technology while contributing to a cause greater than himself.
During his time at Counter Terrorism Policing, Jack witnessed firsthand the power of social media and digital platforms when spreading information and creating awareness. He realised that these tools have the potential to make a significant impact on society if utilised effectively. Inspired by this realisation, Jack embarked on a mission to harness the power of social media for positive change.
With this newfound purpose, Jack founded WIse4Social, a service dedicated to empowering individuals and organisations through social media education and consultancy, whilst also aiming to bridge the gap between traditional communication methods and the rapidly digital landscape evolving
Through Wise4Social, Jack offered comprehensive packages and training designed to equip individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary to navigate the complex world of social media. He believed that by empowering people with the right tools and understanding, they could leverage social media platforms to amplify their voices, build meaningful connections, and drive positive change.

Hello,
I'm Jack Sawyer, a proud graduate of Bournemouth University. I successfully completed my degree in Marketing Communications with Public Relations in which I achieved a 2:1 degree. Throughout my time at university, I had the opportunity to delve into various aspects of the PR and Communication sector, engaging in various projects and assignments not only expamding my learning of the subject area but also enabling me to successfully obtain certifications from esteemed organisations such as the CIM (Chartered Institute of Marketing) and CIPR (Chartered Institute of Public Relations.
During my time at University, I was fortunate enough to do a year-long placement at Counter Terrorism Policing (CTP) where I served as a Digital Communication Assitant at New Scotland Yard. In my role I aided CTP in educating a younger demogrpahic but also helped raise awareness around teror related issues. One of my key responsibilites involved utlilising social media channesl to effectively communicate CTP's message to a younger audience. By leveraging these I aimed to engage with individuals who may not have been exposed to traditional forms of Counter Terrorism education. Through strategic content creation and targeted campaigns, I aimed to capture the Uk public attention and encourage them to actively participate in efforts to combat terrorism.
If I were to describe myself, I would say that I am I am an individual characterised by honesty, hard work and the ability to make a significant impact. However my true passion lies within Social Media, where I have discovered immese satisfaction in exploring its potential as a powerful tool for communciation and engagement. Beyond simply managing regular social media platforms, I am particularly drawn to a more PR field of crisis communications and reputation management, where I recognise it's importance when safeguarding and enhancing a brand's image, especially during challenging times.
Furthermore, I actively participate in freelance work alongside my full time position as a Media and Communication assistant for the Metropolitan Police. By engaging in freelance work, I am able to put my knowledge and abilities into action, providing tangible results for small businesses. Through designing and planning content specifcally tailored to their needs, I aid these companies in effectively utlising social media channels to reach their target audience and achive their strategic goals. Whether it be creating visually appealing grpahics, crafting engaging captions, or developing comprehensive social media strategies, I strive to deliver high quality content that reasonates with the intended audience.
Overall, I am extremely proud of my accomplishments in marketing industry so far and remain dedicated to furthering my personal and professional growth, whilst also expanding my skill set and deepening my understanding of how to effectively contribute to the organisation I work with.
